I have a question for you, why a cracked windshield is dangerous? I can give some reason for it

A cracked windshield makes accidents more dangerous

The windshield contributes to the structural integrity of your vehicle. If you get into a rollover accident, the roof is more likely to cave in if there is a cracked windshield, increasing the chances of a serious injury or fatality.

A cracked Windshield makes forward visibility limited

Cracks in the glass reflect light into your eyes, which can distract or even blind you. Even worse, police officers can ticket you for driving with a cracked windshield for those reasons.

A cracked windshield is unattractive

If you’re driving a car with a cracked windshield it’s like wearing a nice shirt with a torn so you have to quickly change a new glass for your car.

Now we together learn about How to Stop a Crack in the Windshield :

1.Use Superglue or Clear Nail Polish

Before you attempt to fill the crack, clean the windshield with auto glass cleaner and paper towels. Then, as a low-fidelity solution, apply clear nail polish or superglue to the chip. Allow the polish or glue to dry, and then place a piece of clear packing tape over the area to help keep dirt out until you can have the chip repaired. Who knew you could temporarily fix a windshield with these everyday items?

2.Use a windshield repair kit

Bonafide windshield repair kits are available for purchase at local hardware stores. To use this, you must be comfortable boring a small hole into the top layer of glass with a 1/16-inch drill bit. Next, force the specialized resin from the repair kit into the hole to seal the glass, reduce stress on the windshield, and stop cracks from forming. If you do the job well, this may be the only repair you need.

3.Use super glue to seal the crack

Just like you started off with the nail polish hack, you’ll first need to clean the damaged area to make sure that dirt, debris or dust particles do not end up inside the crack; they can cause it to spread.

Next, using a dropper, squeeze the glue into the crack and move the tip of the dropper to ensure the glue gets spread evenly throughout the crack.

Wipe off any excessive glue, but do it gently – applying too much force can make the crack worse.

4.Tape the crack

Dirt and moisture are the two biggest threats to the structural integrity of a cracked windshield. They are also the ones your windshield is most likely to get exposed to.

Covering the crack as such with the help of tape can add a protective barrier and ensure that moisture or dirt does not cause the crack to spread further. It’s recommended that you use a clear tape for the application. You can also use a duct tape if the location of crack does not impede with your visibility on road.

5.Remember that Always park your car in shade

Sunlight, snow and rain can cause the crack on your windshield to grow bigger. Parking your car in shade will ensure that your cracked windshield remains protected against these elements of nature.

And with that, we come to the end of our list. We’ve given you enough time to implement an appropriate solution, but don’t take this for granted. Stay safe and drive safely!

Again, worth reiterating that it’s only a temporary solution. You mus to Schedule Windshield Repair or Replacement.

Conclusion

I think that the treatment of car windshield cracks is only a temporary solution, we cannot repair it once. It is longer the crack more spreading and endangers you while driving, so you must quickly find a reputable auto garage, with a team of professionals to repair or replace it.
